Se togliessimo tutte le liturgie, i misteri, i miracoli della Chiesa cattolica, rimarrebbe sempre, inamovibile, una croce con un Essere appeso e morente. È questa l’essenza del tutto.

If we removed all the liturgies, mysteries, miracles of the Catholic Church, there would always remain, immovable, a cross with a hanging and dying Being. This is the essence of it all.
