Hans Gorge Gadamer: democrazia ed élite
La democrazia è una fabbrica di élite, che prosperano e più si moltiplicano quando c’è la presunta democrazia, afferma il filosofo tedesco Hans-Georg Gadamer, inventore del “circolo ermeneutico” (vedi il colloquio-intervista di A. Verrecchia, Incontri viennesi, UTET, 2005, pag. 109). Ma ha ragione Gadamer? Forse è opportuno precisare: la democrazia produce potentati, che sono forme nascoste e subdole di potere; le élite sono solo merdine di omuncoli pronti all’assalto della diligenza del potere.
L’aristocrazia, anche se non più desiderabile, era altra cosa: è una constatazione, non un pensiero nostalgico.

Democracy is an elite factory, which thrive and more increase when there is a supposed democracy, says the German philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer, inventor of the “hermeneutic circle” (see the conversation-interview by A. Verrecchia, Viennese Meetings). But is Gadamer right? Perhaps it is opportune to specify: democracy produces potentates, which are hidden and devious forms of authority; the elite are just little shits ready to attack the power of diligence.
The aristocracy, although just not desirable, was another thing: it is an observation, not a nostalgic thought.
