Democrazia
Una democrazia, che non sa bruciare i suoi uomini migliori, è una democrazia senza vivaio. Significa che non ha rincalzi. Significa anche che non ha uomini migliori, perché questi si brucerebbero da soli, non possedendo l’istinto di conservazione dei mediocri.
La democrazia dei mediocri non brucia uomini, brucia idee e sul vuoto che resta si trasforma in demagogia.
Democracy
A democracy, that is not able to burn its better men, is a democracy without breeding-ground. It means that it has not reinforcements. It also means that it has not better men, because they would burn themselves, not possessing the instinct of self-preservation of the mediocrities.
The democracy of the mediocrities does not burn men, it burns ideas and on the remaining vacuum it changes in demagogy.
