Popolazione mondiale: avanti animali, il mondo è vostro

I demografi internazionali hanno contato più di 7 miliardi di uomini sulla Terra, ma è un valore in largo difetto. Se pensiamo ad animalisti politicizzati, vecchiette bisognose di compagnia in salotto, pensionati impegnati a farsi portare dai cagnetti ai giardinetti per deiettare continuamente (i cani o i prostatici vecchietti?), giovanotte che esibiscono alani più grossi di vitelli nell’ora dello struscio sul corso cittadino, tutti deanimalizzati, forse perché trattati come esseri umani e meglio mentre parte della popolazione mondiale muore di fame, coccolati tra cibi selezionati, negozi di tolettatura, infermerie veterinarie, si provano dubbi fondati sul dato demografico del mondo cosiddetto umano. E pensare che i cani vorrebbero essere solo cani e i gatti solo gatti. È persino delittuoso privare gli animali della loro animalità per dargli un’umanità, che, spesso, è un livello inferiore.

È vero che si leggono storie di cani che salvano il padrone sacrificando la propria vita e di femmine canine, che allattano gatti orfani; ma, in genere, si tratta di animali che sono stati rispettati come tali, consentendogli di affinare l’istinto, un legame affettivo riservato solo a una persona, rendendo persino nobile la loro animalità.

Arno Penzias, il grande astrofisico scopritore con Wilson della radiazione cosmica di fondo, sostiene – e condivido – che ciò che distingue l’uomo dall’animale è l’altruismo, che è caratteristica solo del primo (R. Chiaberge, “La variabile DIO”, pag. 162). Il problema è, però, che cosa si intende per altruismo. Penso a Piero Martinetti, il grande filosofo italiano del Novecento, che ammise: “che cosa farei io senza la mia gatta?”. Se ho ben inteso, per Martinetti la sua gatta valeva la sua filosofia.

Il problema resta aperto. L’unica certezza è che siamo più di 7 miliardi.

World population: forward animals, the world is yours

The International demographers have counted more than 7 billion of people on the earth; but it is a value largely in defect. If we think to animalistics, old women in need of company in the drawing room, pensioners busy to make bringing themselves by the doggies to little gardens to make continuously manure  (the dogs or the prostate pensioners?), young women showing great danes more big than calfs in the time during the Sunday strong alone the main city center street, alls no animalized, maybe because treated as men and better while the part of world population dies of hunger, cuddled between select foods, grooming-shops, veterinary nurses, we are in sound doubt about the demographic data of the so-called human world. And to think that the dogs would be only dogs and the cats only cats. It is even criminal to deprive the animals from their animality giving to them humanity, that, often, is an inferior level.

It is true that we can read stories of dogs that save the master sacrificing  own life and of female dogs, that suckle orphan cats, but, generally, they are animals which have been respected as such, consenting to them to refine  the instinct, an affective tie reserved only to one person, making even noble their animality.

Arno Penzias, the great astrophysicist discoverer with  Wilson of the cosmic microwave background radiation, asserts – and I agree- that what distinguishes man from the animal is the altruism, that is a characteristic only of the first (R. Chiaberge, “La variabile DIO”, pag. 162). The problem is, otherwise, what we mean for  altruism. I Think to Piero Maryinetti, the great Italian philosopher of the twentieth century, that admitted: “What would I do without my cat?”). If I understand good, for Martinetti his pussy valued his philosophy.

The problem remains open. The only certainty is that we are more than 7 billion.
