Parola fatidica
Stento a credere che il grande Chambronne abbia gridato in faccia al vincente duca di Wellington la fatidica parola, che lo consegnò alla storia. Per divertissement, ritengo più probabile che abbia gridato “Flan”, vanto della pasticceria francese.
Ah! Mi dite che è la stessa cosa?
Non so: non m’intendo di dolci mollicci e nemmeno ne mangio.
Fateful word
It’ s hard to believe that the great Chambronne shouted in face to winning Duke of Wellington the fateful word, whit that he went down the history. For fun, I think more probable that he shouted “Flan”, boast of the French confectionery.
