Il linguaggio delle campane
Le campane parlano: il batacchio colpisce una volta a destra e l’altra a sinistra, con ritmo incostante perché non è fisso, ma è pendulo, come il tempo non matematico. Solo il martello colpisce sempre lo stesso punto. “Campane a martello”: colpi secchi e monotoni, ripetuti con gravità per avvisare la popolazione di un pericolo incombente, come quando viene nominato un nuovo governo.
The language of the bells
The bells talk: the knocker hits once on the right and another time on the left, with a changeable rhythm, because it is not fixed, but pendulous, as the not mathematical time. Only the hammer always hits the same point. “Bells hammer”: dread and monotonous blow, repeated whit gravity to inform people about an impending danger, as when a new government is appointed.
