L’anima del tempo
Sin dall’antichità, l’uomo ha scoperto il tempo guardando gli astri e dalla meridiana pervenne all’orologio atomico, ma sempre ricorrendo a un concetto matematico e meccanicistico, che sintetizzò nella triade: ieri, oggi e domani. Però, questi termini sono diventati così abituali che l’uomo, quando li usa, non pensa al significato psicologico e morale, che resta nascosto.
Se, invece, usiamo un’altra triade: storia, vita e speranza, possiamo recuperare il senso profondo del tempo passato, presente e futuro, in cui anche l’inevitabile meccanicismo dell’orologio resta assorbito. Si potrebbe dire che questa triade è l’anima del tempo.
The soul of the time
Since ancient times, man has found the time looking at the stars and the sundial came atomic clock, but always using a mathematical and mechanistic concept, that summed up in the triad: yesterday, today and tomorrow. However, these terms have become so frequent that the man, when uses them, does not think about the moral and psychological meaning, which remains hidden.
If, instead, we use another triad: the history, life and hope, we can recall the deep sense of the past, present and future, in which even the inevitable clock mechanism remains absorbed. We could say that this triad is the soul of the time.
